About the Item

Armchairs by Gustav Siegel for Kohn (model no. 715). Beech, bentwood, brown stained. J. & J. Kohn /Teschen-Austria (punch mark) six pieces, available still not restored which means the wood can be stained in every color on request also the seat and backside can be upholstered with every fabric or leather on request. there are also two very similar by Thonet available (pictures can be send on request) delivery time will be about 4-6 weeks The model with legs in brass sleeves(ends) was exhibited at the 1900 World Exhibition in Paris in the space of J. & J. Kohn, where he was awarded the Grand Prix. The successful design was imitated not only internally by the firm Kohn, but also in the Gebr. Thonet and other Austro-Hungarian bend wood furnitures producers.
