Fredrik Kayser Model 710 Armchair

About the Item

For your consideration is this rare, out-of-production Model 710 armchair which is similar to Fredrik Keyser's more common Model 711, but features a more upright seating position. This makes it suitable as a pull-up chair, while still being comfortable and well-proportioned enough to function as a stand-alone guest chair. The chair is all original and features a solid teak frame with original finish and original black vinyl upholstery. The distinctive sculpted arms are suggestive of the leather straps of a campaign chair. The wood has lovely natural patina and deep, rich color, and the chair is exceptionally handsome and comfortable.
