French Big Armchair, Walnut Wood + Decorated Fabric Petit Point

About the Item

Big ancient 17th Century armchairs, completely hand carved in precious walnut wood, built with the spool method, Louis XIV style, with original "petit point" fabric, depicting figures in period costumes immersed in a garden with architectural elements and buildings as a background. Important to note are the old restorations and a stitching on the top of the backrest, as can be seen in the detailed photos. The back of the backrest is lined with a plain ecru canvas. Here you can release all the luxury, Classic of furniture still made with ancient and very precious techniques, all rigorously handmade by artisans of the time, true artists given the preciousness of these objects that have lasted for many centuries intact. Beautiful in a classy living room, an elegant office or in an interior of great value.
