Joseph Diongre armchairs for Flagey 1938

About the Item

The architect Joseph Diongre (1878/1963) designed the Flagey building in 1933. He also designed the furniture for this building. These chairs and table were designed by him for Flagey. This chair is a great example of craftsmanship: the nice detailed chrome tubular metal base with special screws, the plywood seat and back rest, the armrests finished with solid wood. The chairs are in good structural condition, the chrome of the metal frame has rust in several places. The wood is still in good condition. These chairs are perfect to use. Price per piece.
