About the Item

"Lina" is a chair, designed by Patrizia Bertolini and manufactured by Adele-C, made entirely of solid ash open pore black painted with upholstered seat covered by black aniline leather. Leather covers by Adele-C are aniline dyed in a vat during the tanning process, which avoids to use chromium salts. Indoor use only. DIMENSIONS: D. 18.8", W. 21.6", H. 24.8", Seat H. 17.7" Patrizia Bertolini said about "Lina": "Lina is a wooden armchair with branches stemming from legs which support your arms and back, which support your heart and head." PATRIZIA BERTOLINI studied Art and graduated in Design at ISIA in Rome. She designs furniture and interior accessories working with companies of this sector and operates in interior and exhibit design. She exhibited in various art and design galleries and participated in many national and international cultural events and trade shows. She won some national and international awards ( t.a. 1° Young & Design 1997/1998, 1° Premio Morelato 2012), and many acknowledgements including the selection to the XIX and XXIV Premio Compasso d’Oro. Between 1989 and 2001 she cooperated with Christof Burtscher (Burtscher & Bertolini) focusing study and research efforts on wood technology applied to design. She conducts teaching activities about design. ADELE-C collection, including and extending the legacy of the well-known Cassina brand, consists of pieces of design indifferent to passing fads and ready to show new paths for interior design. Adele-C collection is typically ready to naturally adapt to any space, as its sobriety in style and quality of materials are simply perfect to enrich any room in a refined way.
