Little Couture armchair by Färg & Blanche
Dimensions: D 70 x W 70 x H 80 cm
Materials: Solid wooden seat structure and upholstered. The Exterior backrest is made up of two birch plywood pieces sewn together and stained in a degraded color. Upholstered in different materials and leathers provided by BD. Optional swivel system.
Available upholstered in different fabrics and leather and, available in a larger Couture.
It is based on the same swivel base, but with a lower back. The wooden part that stops at the armrest level and surrounds the armchair is composed of 2 layers of wood that hold together with the recognizable stitch which goes straight through the wood using our unique Wood Tailoring technique. Little Couture is like a prêt-à-porter version of our Couture armchair.
In 1972, a group of young architects and designers from Barcelona created BD with the aim of producing and marketing furniture and other objects for our projects, with complete creative freedom and with a criterion that has turned out to be quite different from the norm at companies in the sector, regarding both the shape and function.

The Couture Armchair is a fusion of artisanal and industrial techniques.
The stitches represent a topographic map resulting in an organic pattern, simulating the growth in wood. The use of gradient colours for the wood, amplifies the effect of layers used and increases the sensation of unifying hard materials. The result is an armchair with strong personality which holds maximum evidence of artisanal processes.
Materials and finishes:
Seat structure in solid wood and upholstered. Backrest in varnished walnut or degraded birch made up of pieces sewn together with polyamide thread. Upholstered in BD’s different materials. Includes in swivel system.
