Louis XVI Style Ebonized Armchairs in Manner of Henri Jacob (d. 1824)
About the Item
Our fautteuil d'officier (officer's armchairs) were supplied by Peter Marino for a prestigious Palm Beach client.
Inspired by the Louis XVI period designs of Henri Jacob (d. 1824), they feature curved top rails above pierced trellis backs with arms terminating in finely carved lion heads, very unique woven leather upholstered and padded seats, and bobbin turns legs with toupe feet.
Each in very good condition.
