About the Item
A stunning pair of Gustavian armchairs made in Stockholm and signed by Johan Erik Höglander (1758-1813). Arched shield back style with bow front seats. Frame - back, arms and base with detailed contours. One chair still retains its original Stockholm chair makers paper seal. Supported by H-cross construction. Tastefully repainted in light grey and reupholstered in linen.
