About the Item
A stunning and high quality pair of French 19th century Transitional st. patinated wood armchairs. Each armchair is raised by elegant cabriole legs with finely detailed foliate carvings and rosette top reserves. The straight front apron contains spiral carvings which flank the elegant reserve of a pair of blooming roses. The cushioned armrests, which match the velvet floral upholstery throughout, display elegant scrolled designs. The upholstered back supports showcase additional most elegant and finely detailed spiral designs which flank the the floral carved central reserves on top.
