Pair large-scale ladder-back braided-rush seat armchairs, attributed to Paolo Buffa. Shaped ladder-back, turned arm supports, tapered round legs. Seats covered by woven bands of braided rush. Sold together and priced $7,800 for the pair. Note: Regional differences in humidity and climate during shipping may cause antique and vintage wood to shrink and/or split along its grain, veneer to loosen and/or peel, and painted finishes and gilt to crack and flake.
