About the Item

This stunning pair of Mid-Century Modern chairs were realized by the esteemed designer Donghia in the United States, circa 1980. They feature ebonized walnut bodies with circular backs, conical legs and scalloped channel detailing that runs around the border of the back frame, as well as the arms. In addition to the fluted detailing, the legs offer geometric embellishments near the base of each. With their clean modernist lines and beautiful detailing, these chairs would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly upholstered in smoked platinum velvet and restored to mint condition. American, circa 1980 Dimensions: 26" D x 24.5" W x 38" H Seat height 23".
