Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this stunning His & Her's pair of fully restored Mid Century Modern circa 1960’s De Sede DS47 armchairs which are part of a larger collection These are part of a collection as mentioned, I have in this listing the pair of armchairs which have been fully restored, I also have the sofa which has been waxed listed under my other items A truly iconic and super comfortable pair of armchairs made by the style gurus and De Sede. The DS-47 has been a staple of many a designer interiors, its clean lines, oversized hand stitched leather make it cool, comfortable and good looking from any angle These armchairs have a kind of reclining action, the back doesn't go back but the base comes out and forwards, the end result is a much more comfortable seating position and a lot more room for curling your legs up beside you or your partner. It is upholstered in thick Buffalo Neck cattle hide leather which is super smooth and soft This chairs have been fully restored by my leather polishers to include having the old colour stripped back, they have then been hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed waxed down and polished, they now have a better than finish and are totally unique, these are the only model of these chairs in the world that have this exact colour finish These are whats called a His & Her's pair which means one is slightly larger than the other Dimensions Height:- 73cm & 72.5 Width:- 87cm Depth:- 91cm & 92.5cm Seat depth only when extended:- 75cm & 71cm Seat height:- 38cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid ABOUT US Royal House Antiques is a privately owned family ran business founded in Wimbledon SW19 and now based in Pulborough RH20.
