About the Item

Pair, Swedish white painted armchairs with carved details along edges, top of back and bottom of seat; turned fluted legs. The newer, professionally applied antique white painted finish is typical of the 1900's era in Sweden. It has been distressed to reveal layers of color/distress fitting the age and graceful appeal of this pair. Simple linen upholstery on back and seat with deconstructed look and feel; staples and stitched seams visible throughout. Can easily be re-upholstered at discretion of buyer. Chairs frames are solid, stable and ready to be re-upholstered. Seat H: 17" Any scratches, cracks, dings, or age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this lovely pair.
