About the Item

Radice & Minotti style armchair, recently built in the style of the 1950s, Italian. In the new Italian velvet upholstery, with solid legs in hand-worked brass, Italian. Made exclusively for our contemporary collection. This armchair is the same model but is available in different colors on this site. This armchair is available to order and requires (delivery time) 4 weeks for production. Available in different fabric coverings. Custom cases: prices and delivery times to be agreed upon request. The "Conchiglia" armchair by Radice & Minotti is the 20th century design Classic that inspired this contemporary piece created for our contemporary collection. This armchair can be made in a choice of 39 quality velvet colors like the photographed samples. It is possible to order your armchair in one or more colors Customized cases: prices and delivery times to be agreed upon request. Please ask for information on the various fabric coverings, related prices and production times. These two armchairs are an example of color. Reading from left to right in turquoise, lemon and violet. The name in velvet fabric is "Louvre" by Anteprima, Italy. It is made of 100% polyester quality velvet, high performance with a good support, soft, resistant and fireproof. All components meet fire regulations. Some stories about the chair design process: Designed for the era of lounge life, this piece is inviting with its relaxing curves and lush fabrics. The elegant style, size, shape and quality details make this piece suitable for a living room. The style fits into a range of interiors such as Traditional, Art Deco, Hollywood Regency, Minimalist or Contemporary. In the past we have supplied original original Radice & Minotti armchairs. Since the originals are hard to find and there are often many problems with the conditions, we have organized this recently developed model. Working with local artisans in Italy using traditional methods for exact specifications and quality materials, each sofa is individually made and has a structure made of solid quality handmade wood. The seat consists of a horizontal solid wood plate with a cushion entirely in foam on the top. Several layers of foam with different densities, from a high-density foam core on the bottom to a softer layer of foam on the top, and then a polyester fiber shell is bonded to the foam to give a soft sculpted look and allow the maximum comfort without losing the sculptural organic form. This choice of pillow allows you to have a rather firm but soft touch, with the fewest possible folds in the fabric. These compositions are repeated along the back and sides of the sofa. This piece is completely finished around the frame and seat cushion, which emphasizes the shape and flow of the design. The frame is located on 4 removable hand polished brass legs that screw to the frame. Each leg is in solid brass and has the upper part made as a plate, with four holes for screwing to the chair, giving great stability to the piece. Packaging is offered free of charge. We have successfully shipped this chair safely around the world. We pay close attention to the package. The frame will be wrapped in several layers of air bubbles / foam / cardboard and a final cellophane layer for safe transport. If necessary, the legs can be easily unscrewed from the frame and packed separately in a box.
