About the Item

Model K 32 This elegant Bauhaus armchair originates from Czechoslovakia from the first half of the 20th century. It is an iconic Model K 32 from the renowned Slezákovy závody, representing the pinnacle of functionalist design of its era. The armchair is crafted from tubular chrome-plated steel, which has been professionally cleaned and polished to a mirror-like finish. The new suede-imitating textile upholstery was precisely executed according to the original design, ensuring an authentic look while offering a comfortable and durable surface. The beech armrests complete the overall design. The armchair has undergone a complete restoration and is very comfortable, partly thanks to its high backrest for comfortable head support. This design gem is ideal for those seeking a combination of history, comfort, and superb craftsmanship. It has been re-polished with polyutherane piano lacquer by our professional refurbishing team in Czechia according to the original process. The chrome parts have been cleaned and professionally restored. This item features classic Bauhaus design elements. Elements of this style are neutral colors and occasional bright primary colors. Bauhaus designers avoided the fussy and pretentious, looking for clean, modern lines. Perfect for a timeless yet modern look.
