Armchair Space Age designed by Luigi Colani. Structure in fibreglass and upholstered in linen of Loro Piana. Germany, 1960s.
Luigi Colani (1928-2019) was a German industrial designer known for his organic and futuristic forms inspired by nature. His work spanned automobiles, aircraft, furniture and consumer products, always with a streamlined and visionary approach. He was a pioneering figure of "bio-design".
