About the Item
The baroque styling is revealed in the high relief carving of these cathedral chapel chairs. The tall back and sides allowed for privacy, while in this example the two seats are joined together almost as a bench, likely for two affluent family members to share. Seats can be raised as seen in photos.
Age related separation of planks are seen in the upper and middle back section, and while typical for the age these do not impact the strength/stability of the bench.
Restored, strong, stable and ready for use.
Seat height: 19.5"
All scratches, cracks, gouges, dings, and age related separation (all of which are visible) are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this unique find.
Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed. Photos are part of item description, please ask questions or request additional photos of specific areas if needed.
