Tavinho Camerino, from Alagoas, Northeast Brazil The only representative from Brazil to have his pieces exhibited at the Salone Satellite, at the Milan Design Week, in 2022 and 2023, designer Tavinho Camerino gained prominence and notoriety in the segment at a national and international level. Illustrating the covers of highly regarded magazines and portals such as journal La Repubblica, Interior Design Magazine, Casa & Jardim, Casa Claudia, Home Cuix, Design Milk, Estadão, Daily Hind News, the artist from Alagoas now takes off on new flights. The integration of new elements to existing items is a designer trademark. Tavinho Camerino transits through the industrial universe, at the same time that he highlights the knowledge and techniques of handcrafting. Tavinho Camerino's journey with furniture design began in 2017, when he was still an architecture student. From the very beginning, he was interested in combining traditional materials and techniques from artisans from Alagoas with industrial innovations. So much so that, among his initial creations, there were pieces in coconut wood with iron, produced with artisans from São Miguel dos Milagres (AL).
