Chatsworth Boucle Bench Chest
About the Item
Upholstered boucle bench and storage chest made from rare Beech wood grown on the grounds of Chatsworth House, the infamous 16th Century Manor House in the Derbyshire Dales, England.
The Boucle seat is made from the highest quality Wool from sheep grazing the Isle of Bute off the coast of Scotland.
Lifting the hand carved lid reveals ample storage, constructed using Chatsworth Beech and high quality Birch ply.
The storage bench is intended to be multi purpose, storing blankets and clothing at the foot of a bed, toys and board games in a living room or even boots and shoes in a hallway.
The brass hinges on the chest are the highest quality Brusso hinges, guaranteed for life and hand chiselled into place. They are fitted with a stop which allows the lid to stay open to allow easy and safe access.
The bench has been finished in a hard wearing matt lacquer to ensure ease of maintenance and upkeep.
As wood is a natural material, please expect slight variations in grain patterns and tones. Imperfections and variations are to be absolutely celebrated.
