This lovely bench is a wonderful example of Swedish Gustavian craftsmanship with delicately carved details seen best in the close up photos. Turned finials and tapered legs add to the timeless appeal and style. The professional newly applied light dove gray with antique white painted finish has been gently distressed adding to the aged grace of the bench. Please note the foam seat covered in linen fabric is simply stapled to show what this bench may look like when properly upholstered (The simple fabric and foam will be included with purchase). See photo that shows the plank seat is removeable vs. hinged as this bench originally served as a type of spare trundle bed. Restored, strong and functional this bench is ready to be used and enjoyed. All scratches, cracks, dings, or age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this lovely piece.
