About the Item

A pair of vintage benches designed by Harvey Probber for his own manufacturing company in 1955, the benches are in his catalog and are model number 929. The benches have been recently reupholstered in a cream 100% wool fabric called “Morocco” by Knoll International. They have recently been refinished, the wood is mahogany and is finished in its natural color. The approximate dimensions of the benches are as follows: 20 inches tall, 16 inches wide, 16 inches deep. The legs have a radius interior and are not square. The benches are not marked, but are well documented as being designed by Harvey Probber, note photograph taken from Harvey Probbers catalog.

Benches in very good vintage condition, cushions have been totally reupholstered, some treads in the upholstery are tan / brownish in color, otherwise upholstery is cream colored. Solid mohogany wood frames, refinished to woods natural finish.
