18th Century American Saddle Seat Bow Back Windsor Side Chair

About the Item

18th century pine saddle seat and bow back windsor side chair in excellent condition. The saddle seat shape is very apparent from the view. The back spindles are gently tapered and is joined to the bow back by pegged construction. The chair legs are turned and tapered with H-stretcher joining the legs together for structural support. The seat height is 16'.
