18th Century Georgian Rare Floral Hand Painted Chinoiserie Ebonised Chair

About

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely mid-18th century George III style chinoiserie black ebonised occasional chair made in the very early Victorian era, circa 1840. I absolutely love this chair, it is a very rare find, the paint work is nicely faded and worn as you would expect for a piece well over 175 years old This type of furniture is highly collectable and considered art furniture in their own right. The quality of the painting is exquisite Dimensions: Height 80cm Width 40cm Depth 43cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses. Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
