This is a set of 6 unusual Bauhaus Cantilever Dining Chairs, designed by Marcello Cuneo for Mobel Italia in the early 1970s. These were imported from Italy via Stendig, and were initially retailed & purchased through their NYC showroom. The listed price includes the set of 6. Their design features an infinity frame; a cantilevered silhouette with a chromed-steel sled base. They are currently in need of fresh upholstery. They are in a camel-hued Naugahyde at present, and are in varying stages of aging. Nonetheless, they are a worthwhile endeavor for a lover of Italian design who wants an important set of chairs likely not-to-be-seen available in the states again. Each chair measures 24 inches deep, 24 inches wide, and 27.5 inches tall. They have a seat height of 17.5 inches.
