1970s Pair of Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller DCMU chairs

About the Item

This is a pair of DCMU chairs, designed in 1970 by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. They were a newer, upholstered take on the classic bent wood DCM chair. The seat and back are molded plastic, and these are currently upholstered in their original oyster white vinyl fabric. Each chair measures 21.5 inches deep, 19.5 inches wide, and 29.5 inches high. Their seat height is 19 inches.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor fading. The vinyl on the backs of the seats are loose, and there are some small spots on the upholstery. They are ready to be redone. The chromed steel legs are in good shape and all feet are present.
