About the Item

These fine and rare Biedermeier chairs were made in Vienna circa 1825.
Viennese Biedermeier pieces are distinguished by their sophisticated proportions, rare and refined design, excellent craftsmanship and continue to have a great influence on modern design.
The chairs originates from the most prolific Viennese cabinet maker during the Biedermeier era, Josef Danhauser. His pieces reflect innovative design and highest quality craftsmanship.
These very rare 200 year old pieces are truly the best example of how much influence Biedermeier had on modern design.
The chairs has a gorgeous walnut veneer accentuated by a deep amber tone of french polish finish and beautiful patina.
The pieces will be a great complement to any elegant interior. It does not matter whether it is a classic or modern interior because Biedermeier is simply timeless.
The construction of the chairs is very solid and steady.
