About the Item

Pair of turned chairs. In dark wood with a high back, richly decorated with floral carvings on the top and turned spikes in the form of twisted columns, also present on the front legs. The structure of the chairs is without the seat, allowing us to see the rectangular shape of the base and the wooden fittings, revealing the traditional method of assembly. The craftsmanship is noticeable in the joinery details, especially the top ornament of the backrest, which is reminiscent of the baroque or colonial style, adding grandeur and elegance to the ensemble. The back legs are straight and discreet, contrasting with the more elaborate look of the front. This pair of chairs combines structural solidity with expressive decoration and is ideal for compositions that emphasise pieces with history and personality, whether in classic environments or in decorative proposals from other eras.
