Elm Chippendale Corner Chair, circa 1780-1820
$750

About
Elm Chippendale corner chair with rush seat, circa 1780-1820. Most likely English. As with many pieces of this age, there have been some repairs over the years. Most notably, a few of the original square pegs have been replaced with round pegs. Minor repair to left arm (pictured) etc. Rush seat is in very good condition, and has most certainly been re-done several times over the lifetime of the chair. Overall, a very nice example. Measurements: 26" deep x 28 3/4" wide x 29 1/2" tall, 15 1/2" seat height.
