Fringed Chairs From Ladurée Patisserie

About the Item

Designed by Roxanne Rodriguez for the Ladurée Patisserie, Paris, these chairs took pride of place in their Salon Paeva dinning room on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées. Drawing inspiration from the rich history of French historical interiors and decorative arts Ladurée’s timeless interiors are nothing less than spectacular. Pompoms, braiding, gilt, moulding, silk and sumptuous trimmings formed part of their look, synonymous with beauty, comfort and delicacy. These chairs are covered in two tone red corduroy, finished in black lacquer, bullion fringing and brass studding, they tap into a rich vein of French design taking influence from Carlo Bugatti, Charles Dudouyt and the Napoleonic period.
