About the Item

Rare opportunity to own 1 of 1 signed Green River Project LLC Chair. This chair was made while Green River Project was in British Columbia, it was from a reclaimed hardwood spot they had found on Vancouver Island. It's sort of a meditation on a few of GRP’s designs, the One Pine-Board Side Chair (2018) and the Wenge and Brass Chair (2019). "We made it for our own studio, the red markings are from the lumber yard whenever it was transported. The overall shape and volume references a few important and cherished modernist designers, but as usual when we find a material we really like we try our best not to do too much to it, reserving the right for the actual material to do the work".
