Louis XV Style Giltwood Salon Chairs, Set of 4
About the Item
Suite of four Louis XV style giltwood cabriolet chairs. Comfortable curved round backrest carved with ribbons, supported on cabriole legs. Back and seat are deeply tufted in padded red silk, front feet are on castors. This suite of chairs remained at the same chateau since first commissioned in the 19th century.
Please note these chairs are in need of reupholstering unless a vintage and worn look is desired.
Provenance: a chateau near Clermont-Ferrand, France.
