Midcentury Bohemian Reeded Hand Woven Straw Basket Chair / Laundry Basket Seat
About the Item
A beautiful original midcentury woven straw laundry basket with seat. The seat has a Bohemian style with exceptional craftsmanship, in fantastic condition. The straw bundles are wrapped with a contrasting rattan and there is a small handle on the back of the seat. Gorgeous generous circular seat, which would be perfect with a small round cushion.
This seat is perfect for a dressing table seat, hallway seat or side chair.
The seat is in great condition for its age. some small breaks to the rattan wrap at the base (see pics) but otherwise excellent. The structure is also excellent and can be used safely.
