Modernist Red Chair with Original Fabric

About the Item

A vintage Danish True Love lounge chair in original red boucle fabric. This is a beautiful and incredibly comfortable eye-catcher by design group Globe Zero 4, from designers Flemming Busk and Stephan Hertzog. The chair is made from molded high-density foam and covered in fabric. They were manufactured in two periods; from 1990-99 and later reissued in 2009. Their space-age style recalls Italian modernist designs from the late 1960's and early 1970's. As a pure and elemental shape, the chair can be placed in a variety of interiors. The saturated red color is a welcome compliment to modern monochrome designs but also blends well with vintage interiors.
