About the Item

A pair of Swedish Gustavian chairs made in Stockholm by master craftsman Melker Falkberg (1746 - 1822). Stamped with Stockholm chairmaker's seal and maker signature. Scraped to their original pale grey color. Original slip seats are reupholstered in linen. Chairs have been stabilized for everyday use.
