About the Item
This sculptural seating "constellation" by Taylor Donsker features a stunning array of detail and craftsmanship. Beginning with a section of a rare Pommele Eucalyptus tree, Taylor Donsker methodically chainsaws and positions each piece to create a balanced composition with multiple seats of different textures. The several hand processes showcase a variety of different textures ranging from natural edge, rough chainsawn, hand chiseled, and finely sanded making each seat a unique tactile experience. This can be arranged in different orientations if desired and is anchored in place with polished brass inserts. All wooden elements in the table are finished with Taylor's signature, velvety smooth hand rubbed oil and wax finish and handcrafted in Northern California.
Similar pieces can be commissioned and customized to the client's requested dimensions. Multiple wood species available.
