About the Item
A collection of four Postmodern stackable dining chairs, attributed to Thonet, circa 1980s.
These chairs have been crafted using a blend of Beech Ply and Beech Wood, skilfully juxtaposed with contemporary metal rod accents.
Sweeping, curved beech plywood shapes the backrests and chair arms, while solid beech wood has been expertly turned to produce striking tapered legs. The chair seats seem to hover above the legs, supported by a modern linear metal tubing, which is greatly reminiscent of the Bauhaus style.
The seats are adorned with upholstery in a forest green geometric patterned fabric that is conveniently machine washable. Notably, the seat covers feature a drawstring mechanism, allowing for easy removal and laundering.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Minor fading. There is some wear to the edges and corners of the arm rests, and wear to the leg ends. Please note that x2 leg ends have been chipped to the inner wood. Overall good/fair condition, with the wear easily fixable.
