Set of six chairs, design by Willy RIZZO for CIDUE, in Black leather. ORIGIN Italy PERIOD 1970s DESIGNER Willy RIZZO (Naples, 1928 - Paris, 2013) was a celebrated Italian photographer and designer. Moving to Paris as a young man, he became known for his portraits of stars such as Marilyn Monroe, Coco Chanel and Salvador Dalí, working with prestigious magazines such as Paris Match and Vogue. In the 1960s he began designing furniture, creating iconic pieces characterized by modern lines and fine materials. His creations, including those for the company Cidue, are now considered classics of Italian design.
