The structure is made of metal, and the seat and backrest are made of bent plywood upholstered with high-quality black vinyl. Giancarlo Piretti was born in Bologna in 1940. After studying at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Academy of Bologna, he began working as an interior designer for Anonima Castelli, designing furniture for both home and office use.
