About the Item

A very nice set of six late 19th / early 20th century French fruitwood dining chairs with the desirable double-lyre X stretcher base and nicely contoured legs ending in scrolled carved feet. Each one elaborately carved in great detail around the entire chair. Two arms and four side chairs. Nice solid tight condition with a great color and patina to the original surface. The caning is in very good condition on all of the chairs with some seats and backs being newer replacements. The listed measurements are for the side chairs. The arm chairs are a couple inches wider.
