About the Item

This stylin tufted velvet and brass wave chaise from the 1970s has so much character and is yet casual and laid back. Speaking of laid back, this chaise lounge is so comfortable, it works well also as a daybed, somewhere to take an afternoon nap or just lay back and enjoy the view, a good book or movie or some needed time on your mobile device. The gorgeous red-orange or orange-red color is fitting as a statement piece or to blend in with other colors. The brass base is more rare - normally you only find these in chrome. This 70s velvet and brass chaise longue in the style of Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin would work great in a Post-Modern, Mid-Century Modern, Space Age Mod, Scandanavian Modern or Danish Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary or Zen / Minimalism room. Also consider mixing it up in a Traditional, Transitional, Hollywood Regency, Classical or Art Deco room with a splash of juxtaposition. Would also be an apt choice in a commercial project such as a hotel lobby lounge or members club, creative design studio or high-rise executive office.
