Cast Resin 'Paper - Diablo Grande' Club Chair, by Zachary A. Design
About the Item
Intimate like a written letter. You can sense the artist’s hand – feel their history from each mark, fold and crease on the surface. The pieces in this Paper collection are sketches made permanent. They suspend a moment in time. Each one begins as a drawing before the sheet is formed and folded into a functional object. The crumpled form of the drawing acts as a mold. A cast is made from the inside, allowing the sketch marks to sink into the finished piece. Paper is a spectacle that invites one to experience a drawing that’s found new life in three-dimensional space. Design by Harrison Parkes.
