Antique French Louis XV Painted Day Bed ~ Sofa
About the Item
Antique French Louis XV Painted Day Bed ~ Sofa will add elegance, flair and comfort to any room, all in one piece! The graceful, elegant lines of the Rococo style are evident in the cabriole forms of the frameworks that envelope the side boards, the undulating apron, and the six scrolled legs carved with escargot feet. Fine molding trim pervades the design, enhanced by the two-toned patinaed painted finish with warm neutral coloration. Recently upholstered in a fine silk print, it features rich reds and silver tones for a delightful visual effect. Add coordinating throw pillows to tie it into your room's colors and you have a wonderful sofa that doubles as sleeping accommodations for occasional guests.
