Pair French Eight Leg Louis XV Style Day Beds ~ Sofas, 19th Century
About the Item
This Regal Pair of Eight Leg Louis XV Style Day Beds ~ Sofas were made in France at the end of the Nineteenth Century. The pair of Louis XV Style Day Beds ~ Sofas have a fine hand-carved Fruitwood Frame with a rich warm finish. The Louis XV Style Day Beds have an elegant design with mirrored S-scrolled carved top rail resting on two curved scrolled side post coming down to two carved cabriole legs with a scalloped apron between the legs. The Louis XV Style Sofas have matching front and back hand-carved scrolled side rails with two center legs on the Day Bed upholstered platform which bolts into the Louis XV Style end panels. The Louis XV Style Day Beds ~ Sofas have custom shaped Cushions that fit. The Louis XV Style Day Beds ~ Sofas come apart in four pieces for easy upholstery or shipping.
