About the Item

This is a genuine 19th century French Louis XV daybed with a fantastic carved walnut frame. The daybed has a custom-made mattress and box spring and has two cylindrical pillows. The upholstery is vintage and is in good usable condition. The frame will show minor wear and signs of use such as wear to the finish as shown and minor dings and scuffs and the upholstery is vintage, so it is entirely reasonable to expect minor wear, signs of use and perhaps stains that are not visible in photos. The piece is in good condition for its age. It does come apart for transport. Measures 38.75 tall x 40 wide x 79.25 long. Seat height is estimated at 19 inches. If exact seat height is needed, please let me know.
