About the Item
1950's PEL Tubular Stacking Upholstered Chair - Red Frame - Set Of Eight.
PEL chairs are a British essential. PEL are best known for the simpler tubular frame ply seat chairs and occasionally we have seen this design of heavy weight upholstered dining chair. The frames are in great condition but we had to replace the original upholstery as the Rexine fabric was sadly too worn. Our workshop services and rejuvenates each chair before they leave us. Seat Height 46cm.
Workshop Report:
Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
