About the Item

A custom, elegant solid wood dining chair available in a variety of woods and finishes with solid wood frame and upholstered seat by Thomas Hayes Studio. The angle of the back creates good lumbar support. The frames are accented with solid patinated brass plugs, and the chairs are sturdy, comfortable and versatile. Seat Depth = 17" This item is available for custom order and the lead time is 6-8 weeks; sometimes we are able to complete projects faster, so please contact us to inquire. This particular chair is in Solid Stained Walnut with Satin Lacquer Finish. WOOD OPTIONS: Solid Walnut, Oak, Mahogany (all $1400 COM/COL per chair) Rosewood ($2050 COM/COL per chair) FINISH OPTIONS: A variety of Satin Lacquer and Oil finishes are available; please inquire for all wood/finish options. PLUG OPTIONS: Solid brass plugs are available in light patina, dark patina, polished, or brushed, starting at the top and going clockwise. Please refer to the last image to see these options. Also available with solid matching wood plugs. DESIGN OPTIONS: This design is also available with a pivoting back and as bar stools or counter stools. CONDITION: For any custom pieces with solid wood or wood veneer, we deliberately choose to use beautifully figural wood that may have some irregularities. You can expect much variation in grain and some knots, slight cracks, and small filled knot holes that are naturally occurring in the completed pieces. It is part of our aesthetic and process when making hand crafted pieces to not attempt to hide these natural irregularities that we believe make a piece more beautiful and unique.
