Classic mid-century: stacking chair model DSC 106, manufactured by Castelli based on the design by Giancarlo Piretti. Structure in die-cast aluminum covered in white leather. General good condition with visible signs of wear.
We believe this set was produced in 1981

Condition is good to fair. Please see photos for details and the leather has been replaced at some point leather is in good condition for the most part very soft very comfortable chair.

Giancarlo Piretti
Giancarlo Piretti was born in Bologna, Italy, in 1940. He attended art schools there and subsequently taught Interior Design. During that time, he was also designing furniture for Anonima Castelli. He has won numerous awards and has items in many museums, including MoMA, New York. He still lives and works in Bologna with his son, designer Alessandro Piretti.
