About the Item
Handsome vintage Scandinavian Modern D Scan dining chairs comprised of teak frames & oatmeal tweed fabric, set of 4. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, one chair seat needed reformed and new support pegs added. All were cleaned and the wood given a fresh coat of Danish oil. Sexy, Sophisticated, and Spectacular Scandinavian Modern Style!!! (Insert Whistle!!!) LOL, WOW!!! This is a GORGEOUS set of four vintage Scandinavian Modern dining chairs comprised of lovely teak frames with straight lines including straight back legs that double as the seat back sides and hold the slightly curved back rest, lower side stretchers, and wonderful square seat cushions held with a floating effect inside a square seat frame. Both the back rest & seats are covered in a beautiful nubby tweed oatmeal colored fabric bearing little black & brown flecks… STUNNING!!! They are simply SCREAMING with quintessential Scandinavian Modern magnificence and are sure to make a bold statement in any room. Whether at a dining table, breakfast nook, or game table, this set of four dining chairs will be incredible around whatever table you choose; however, you may want to consider our listings for matching Scandinavian Modern dining tables as we have several listed here that will compliment them nicely… check them out!! D-Scan was founded in 1968 and began producing Scandinavian style furniture in Singapore in the mid 1970’s. They were known for their high-quality, functional, and minimalist designs. They opened a plant in south Boston in 1988 where they operated as part of Tvilum-Scanbrik, a Danish manufacturer of ready-to-assemble furniture that was acquired by Masco in 2000. The company was eventually phased out.

Fabulous Scandinavian modern Danish rosewood dining chairs by Art Furn including 4 side and 2 armchairs, set of 6. Comprised of solid rosewood and a nubby off-white fabric upholstery that show signs of the original fabric underneath. They have all been professionally cleaned and shampooed however one chair has some stubborn areas. Most will want to reupholster, and we have priced accordingly. The frames are in over-all beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. We re-glued the backs where necessary.
