Spanish or Spanish Renaissance Revival style dining room set. Dining chair set with 6 chairs and two Spanish throne-type armchairs, or Baroque /Renaissance Style. Solomonic carved wood barley twist legs, and embossed leather backing. There are 8 seats, 6 chairs and 2 armchairs-throne: they are made of chestnut wood and embossed leather, nineteenth century or early twentieth century. Set of six chairs and two matching armchairs, made in chestnut and with embossed leather seat and back that is kept in perfect condition. The structure is based on the traditional models of the Spanish Renaissance armchair). It was common in the 19th century to make furniture by uniting elements from different artistic traditions, based on local models in Spain. In this case, the mixture is not very great, which is why they are so elegant and sober. The embossed leather on the seats and backrests is another characteristic element of the Peninsula. The simple structure of the backrests and of the entire seat in general, makes them very decorative, functional and very easily combined with other styles.
