About the Item
For restoration. Delicate and refined set of four particularly handsome Regency chairs with crest rails turned on the ends, scrolled sides and double back supports. One back support flat with brass bosses above a turned support bar with brass rings. The hand-caned seats raised on klismos style legs. Brass beaded details along the crest rail, side supports, seat sides and front legs. Brass bosses on the sides of the front legs. Along with ecru moire printed fabric seat cushions with ties.
Dimensions: H. 33", W. 17 3/4", Depth 23", seat H. 17 1/2"
Condition: Please see all detail photos. Restoration required. The metal beading is tarnished and there are a few areas of missing and lifting beading , lifted wire, one upper support corner chipped with loss, age-borne wear to the finishes overall including some nicks and scratches and there are some old stains on the removable cushions. The aforementioned is for accuracy as the Set retains an elegant antique presentation.
